Be part of a team that serves the disabled, allowing them to have a rich camp experience and give their primary caregivers a much-needed break. We take a team of people to help in the cabin, clean, cook, and do whatever needs done. The camp is located in Warsaw, Ohio.
Preferred ages are 13 and up due to the demands of this mission. If you are unsure please don’t hesitate to reach out and get more information.
Journey with us back to our brothers and sisters at Funny River Bible Church in Soldotna, Alaska.
During our time onsite we traditionally help with building projects, general maintenance, and fellowship together through fishing and hiking.
Please fill out the short-term mission trip application. This is not a commitment from you. Commitments will begin after the interest meeting on February 12.
These mission trips are open to anyone; younger children can come help parents and no application is needed. We travel to MAP ministry headquarters and help prepare their bi-monthly outreach mailing to the Amish. Team members can meet at the church at 7:30 am to carpool or travel directly to MAP on their own (575 US Highway 250 Savannah, OH 44874). A team of 10-12 people is ideal for this project and with that amount of help, the job can be completed by or before 1-2:00pm. More team members can come and the job will be done quicker. Hot coffee and water are available; we have lunch once we’re done, but depending on your eating schedule you may want to bring snacks with you.
