Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

What We Are Learning in the Mornings:

• April 10th we will once again have the youth room ready for our younger brothers and sisters to walkthrough and experience the aftermath of Christ’s death and resurrection to the people who witnessed the most important event in history. This performance will be during 2nd service. Youth who are participating should arrive during 1st service to prepare and practice. Pray for the actors and the kids who will be a part of this that it would be received well and be clear to them the message of the Gospel.
• April 17th is Easter Sunday and PCC will be one service from 10:00am-11:00am with no classes. He is Risen!
• April 24th we will continue our comparative religions studies by going deep into the 3rd largest religion in the world: Hinduism. Pray that we receive people who have different beliefs with kindness and compassion.

What We Are Learning in the Evenings:

• Throughout April and May we are digging deep into the book of James. This letter commands that, as Christians, we have an obligation to represent Christ with every fiber of our being. We have this because of our love for Him and very simply, if our love for Christ is great our works in His name will be great and represent the commitment we have to God. There are so many applications within these five chapters but to summarize, the key topics we are focusing on: 1) trials and temptations 2) prejudices 3) conflict 4) words & actions 5) money & possessions.
