MAP: MISSION TO AMISH PEOPLE

These mission trips are open to anyone; younger children can come help parents and no application is needed. We travel to MAP ministry headquarters and help prepare their bi-monthly outreach mailing to the Amish. Team members can meet at the church at 7:30 am to carpool or travel directly to MAP on their own (575 US Highway 250 Savannah, OH 44874). A team of 10-12 people is ideal for this project and with that amount of help, the job can be completed by or before 1-2:00pm.  More team members can come and the job will be done quicker.  Hot coffee and water are available; we have lunch once we’re done, but depending on your eating schedule you may want to bring snacks with you.

ALASKA MISSIONS TRIP

August 2nd-10th

Objectives:

  1. Assist our sister church, Funny River Bible Church in various projects around the community. 
  2. Fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Alaska and support their church mission.

 

2024 team members: 14

Prayer Requests:

  1. Safe travel to and from Alaska.
  2. General health throughout the trip.
  3. Physical endurance.
  4. Good fellowship.
  5. Spiritual growth.
  6. General prayers for the Funny River community.
  7. Softness of heart to those we meet who do not know Jesus Christ.

THE GOSPEL MISSION

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
