Children's Ministry

At Portage Community Chapel, we believe that children are of the utmost importance to the Lord Jesus, and so we seek to make them a priority as well. On numerous occasions in the gospels, Christ rebuked his disciples for failing to grasp their infinite value. The Children’s Ministries offer classes for children of all ages up to 12th grade. We provide intentional shepherding throughout all of our programming, equipping both teachers and students.

Our goal in Children’s ministry is to:

1. Aid the family in the spiritual formation of children with Biblical curriculum that has continuity and is relevant to the child’s culture and experience.
2. Lead children to saving faith in Christ.
3. Develop sound Christian character and morals.

Oversight of Children’s Ministries (Christian Education) belongs to our Minister of Christian Education, Brent Joy.
