What We Believe
  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (in the original autographs) and is relevant for our lives today.
  2. We believe Jesus Christ, the God-man, died for our sins.
  3. We believe Jesus offers eternal life to all who accept Him by faith and repentance.
  4. We believe the church, Christ’s body, is to proclaim the gospel (the good news that Jesus died for our sins) to all the world.
  5. We observe the ordinances of the church: baptism and the Lord’s supper

    Core Values
    1. A strong Bible teaching ministry: Obedience to the Bible is foundational to spiritual growth.
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock."   -Matthew 7:24
    2. Building a good reputation in the community.
"Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may on account of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation."   -I Peter 2:12
    3. A caring community of believers with opportunities created to foster small relational spiritual growth within the larger body of Christ.
"Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart"   -I Peter 1:22
    4. An equipping and sending church, giving monetarily and personally to fulfill our responsibility as a local church in fulfilling the great commission.
"Then when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them."   -Acts13:3
"For I testify that according to their ability and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord."   -II Corinthians 8:3
    5. Evangelism and outreach: Establishing our responsibility toward our Jerusalem/Judea and to the uttermost places God sends us.
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witness both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the remotest part of the earth"   -Acts 1:8
    6. Youth ministry/youth serving in ministry. Equipping and training youth as a part of the functioning body of Christ.
"Let no look down on your youthfulness but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."   -I Timothy 4:12
    7. Personal Discipleship: A commitment to engage every individual on a personal level with the biblical challenge to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
"... teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age."   -Matthew 28:20
    8. Intentional Shepherding: A focus and intent to see every believer use their unique gift in functioning capacity in the local body of believers.
"But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."   -I Corinthians 12:7
    9. A personal involvement to admonish every believer in those deficient spiritual areas to become all that Christ has for them.
"We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.""   -Colossians 1:28
